We are all grieving over the loss of a really wonderful lady, the past president of the Greenwood Club, Sharlene Mellencamp. She has touched many lives through our club, her church, her many years of teaching school, her involvement in the Quilters Guild, etc.  Calling will be held Friday, Jan. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Community Church of Greenwood, 1477 W. Main Street.  The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, Jan 14 at 10 a.m.. 

Bill is now out of the critical care unit at Methodist, and he has been moved to the 7th floor. The family is asking that we not visit him at this time.  After he leaves the hospital, he will be going to rehab.  After that he will stay with their son Mark for awhile until he is ready to go home.  This might be a long process.
