We are all grieving over the loss of a really wonderful couple. Our immediate past president of the Greenwood Club, Sharlene Mellencamp died on January 6 due to a car accident. Bill died on February 4 due to injures he sustained in the accident. Shar and Bill had touched many lives through our club, their church, many years of teaching high school, her involvement in the Quilters Guild, etc.
Calling for Shar was held on Friday, January 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Community Church of Greenwood, 1477 W. Main Street. Her funeral was on Saturday, Jan 14 at 10 a.m.
